@P4dstar, I've devised a way of using munsen rings for pole holders in my Citroen Dispatch.

Here goes....

M6 nut and M6 washer.

You may need to cut the M6 rod down a set the longer it isn't the more the munsen can move about and possibly damage the nut that's in the cross member. DO NOT over tighten the M6 rod into the nut in the roof!! The nut is open ended and you could end up screwing it through your roof!

I bought the coupling and socket plug to give the WFP another point of contact as your pole will be swinging about otherwise. At the moment I have only taped the plug to my bulkhead but intend to stick it with epoxy resin when I'm totally happy with it. I need to drive around just to make sure the pole isn't going to bash around in the back. I have been trying to think of an alternative to the coupling. I thought maybe a block of wood stuck or bolted to the bulkhead s of the end of the pole can rest on it. I've left the old gutters brackets attached just in case.

Legend mate, that seems to solve the problem. I might go with the same but have a complete pipe with an end on attached to the bulk head instead of just the socket. What is that orange pipe taped to the bulk head?


I think I've cracked it Paddy...the screw threads we're working loose so I took them all apart and put a dollop of epoxy resin on the threads and put it all back together in the thread in the cross member. So far so good ?

If you put an extra nut on the threaded bar you can then tighten it against the fitting and it will act as a locking nut and won’t work loose , hope that makes sense
