Hello all,

Just a bit of advice if possible please.  What is the cure time for hypo after softwashing render for example.

I.e safe for animals children etc to go near.

Cheers

James

Hypo can stay active for up to 21 days from application , there are a couple of ways round this

1 apply a nuetroliser this will kill the hypo off immediately

2 rinse with copious amounts of Water to dilute it to safe peramiters

I'm no expert but surely after it has had time to dwell it is rinsed off, so it's just a case of a good rinse away
Great thanks for your response.

Hi,

Thanks for your prompt response.  What is the nuetroliser and does it effect the application?

Its completely inert when dry, as with all bleach products it turns into crystals. been doing softwashing for years now using 15% hypoclorite and have never had any come back. Granted the strongest you are proberbly using is a 50/50 mix but bleach biodegrades anyway. If your worried like has been said before just wash down with more water.

You can buy it from softwash systems , it is applied when you have finished the clean and it makes the hypo inert , totaly safe for pets  etc , or just use copious amounts of water to dilute it this will also make it safe , as we all drink hypo in small amounts in drinking water and swimming pools without any ill effects
