Proloc or Grippa reel?

Recommended Posts

I've seen @P4dstar's Proloc and like it. Just wondering if a Grippa would be even better? Anyone got either of the reels? Reviews?

I've nearly got enough money saved for a new reel now 👍

none of the above.....get a pure freedom reelmaster.....expensive but great electric reels......saves energy and makes you more efficient day to day...👍

I love my grippa reel, I compared it to the others at the show last year, for me it was the clear winner.

I will knock out a review over the next few days.

I wouldn't consider anything other than a leccy reel now they make such a difference.

Personally I get on fine with my d.i.y one does the same as a £600+ jobby.

Does the **** start with an s and finish with a t? I'm about to order 2 electric reels, and whilst Pure Freedom are favourites, Grippa were going to be asked as well.

Yes mate s and t. Literally fall to bits over time. I’m not the only one either who’s had grief on here with them.

Can you post post a review of the issues that you have had and maybe some pictures ?? It’s always intresting to see all people’s experience with a product good or bad helps the rest of us make an informed Decision what to buy

Had my hd power up a couple of years now still in great condition and very fast., very narrow which is a big bonus if you use small van like me, honestly no need for snag protection it does get snagged and just stops like any other reel manual or electric probably going to buy another soon for my son as he currently uses the proloc.
