Make it easy to change water fed pole hoses quickly.
And stop having supply hose leak when disconnected.

I've never used them. A few did and the general consensus on the forum a number of years ago was that they weren't robust enough for window cleaning applications. They also disconnected when being dragged along the ground. I see you have added a sleeve to limit that. But when you buy something you don't really want to be modifying it to work better.

Some also found that the male piece got easy damaged/worn when rubbed/dragged on the tarmac when putting the pole back inside the van.

There are a lot of windies who now recommend the hose couplings sold by Exceed as being more rugged. (I am not using them atm as it would be rather expensive to replace connectors on 3 hose reels, 1 backpack and 5 poles to make them all interchangeable.)

I find hoseless with EZ snap lasts for more than a year or two if you pick up the female end when reeling in, and the male end is hidden inside the pole. Small and rugged they are.

Slick Connect   is the better option for lads who use them.

Thought to use that as well might try that as well later these.

they were/are spruce I remember using them lordy, must be five or six years ago when the only alternative were taps or rectus fittings, they were pants then as I believe they are more for the medical industry (dis-connecting bags full of all manner of thing) sorry herman but, we tried them years ago-they just did not last long and theres much better alternatives available now as to make these a non starter.

Well there you go possibly not using the correct plastic.

And yes they do make them from metal like in the video.

Which would be my preference as well .

See if can get metal one try that.

Also they now use these connection for more then medical industry.

So they would possibly be much stronger to use for other applications.

We used this kit to attach to the hoses.
As far as know you can get this kit anywhere in the world.

Osprey quick connect kit.

The Slick Connect do they fit to multiple different size hoses?
