The line has probably eaten into the surface causing permanent damage and staining , it likes burns the surfaceCheers for the advice guys. Yes you would think they would tape up the windows but it’s another one of them, it’s not my problem.
Iv cleaned the glass up well enough it’s just the window sills now, it’s the over spray from the render.
Iv tried cement off and various other chemicals at no success.
I think you have tried all the obvious ones that I would have triedSorry I meant the window ledge. Iv used scourers etc but it’s really hard graft getting it clean. Just seeing if there is anything that will help.
I don't understand why builders don't tape the windows and glass up after they are fitted, it would save a lot of heartache for the homeowner.
I have done two builder cleans on new properties. High quoted work. In my short time on the glass all I can say is 'never again'. I am sure others do them all the time. My two experiences taught me that builders will do anything not to pay you and come up with ridiculous excuses. The work also takes forever and I just won't do them anymore. Might as well get paid for doing domestic jobs than busting a nut for builder bob.
