Cleaning up after a fire

Hi

I have a job where a car fire happened on a block paving driveway.

The car burnt really badly melting all sorts over the drive and also leaving soot / smoke over the house and garage door.

What do people recommend products-wise to do this? I am guessing the driveway in particular will be really dirty and am not sure my pressure washer will work?

I would just blast away with my turbo nozzle. If that failed to remove the burnmarks or material stuck to the monblock then I would just replace the damaged blocks. You would probably need a grinder to remove the lugs from the new blocks because they will be hard to fit back in. Might be better painting the garage door if a degreaser doesn't remove the burnmarks.

You will not remove all the stuff from the drive it’s best to replace the bricks , as for smoke damage to buildings and furnishings there are specialist companies that di fire damage cleaning problebly best to get them to deal with it , hydro carbons, soot, and smoke damage cleaning is specialist work and usually paid for by the insurance company in many cases they will send the firm round to clean up as they will be contracted to the insurance company
