The top of resin bottle I never quite get it tight first time. Then undoing it is not great either.

Its a new style on me my old one was 1/2 in much easier.

Bit of Vaseline of silicone grease on the threads and rubber seal and just do it up hand tight that’s all I do , if you are struggling to undo it try tapping gently with a mallet to undo it .
