Email invoice security

Been a bit slow to the party but am moving to email invoices (wasting far too much paper!). Problem is, with new rules on data protection just emailing an invoice with customers details without securing it is like just posting a postcard. Anyone can read it. So, has anyone found an easy way of doing this? Or does anyone bother? Ideas/suggestions/solutions all appreciated. Cheers, Capt

Maybe best to either move to quickbooks or something like http://aworka.com or http://cleanerplanner.com I use cleaner planner but used aworka previously both cloud based round tracking apps and all transactions logged etc.
