looks the job but I’m sure it has the price tag to go with it. Personally the only bonus I would see for myself is the fact the hose can’t go over the side of the reel.

i take it the gave up on their multiplier reel that was to come out ?

Do you know what the regular price will be?
Don’t know it just says it’s an introductory offer for the first week , if they are much better than the old version I may up grade ti this now one will hold fire tk see what the general senses of opinion is

Looks really good ? but would be worried about all the composite plastic breaking.

There is plastic and there is plastic  Some is remarkably strong some very weak , I did think that the design looked very much like the pure freedom reel

Yeah know what you mean, just think about ladder etc falling on them as a lot of windies have them inside there van,

I have bought a remote components to make my reel remote, so having the bar across the top looks good.

The last couple of seconds in the video you can see a hand guiding the hose in while she is pressing the button.

I noticed this too den, so it suggests that what you are watching in the short video isn't exactly what happens in "real life" and maybe those bars are to guide the hose over to a different area of the reel so it won't over spool, I did notice a hand guiding the hose so it wound in tightly and evenly, it looks good I give you that but, I think more work has gone into making it more of window cleaning porn than overcoming issues that these reels have, y'know the ones that matter ie over spooling reels that keep on running and churning out metres of hose, looks good as I've said but I think i'll remain with my old one

They also say belt maintenance free I have change the chain on my first power up hd afterapprox 3.5 years cost £4 I think was a 10 minute max job.

I think also, when you had that brief look at the belt, there was some/a lot of slack (almost a tooth out) at the top of the reel if they had installed a simple belt tensioner to keep the belt tight then that won't happen although, in the video it claims there is one?, are we looking at a properly set up reel or just one of the shelf which shouldn't be showing that slack?, if that is so its not the best promotional video imo,

its just my thoughts as the lady has said its taken two years to produce this, but yet I'm seeing some problems or potential issues within one view of the video, i'm just saying guys hold back on purchasing one as it doesn't seem to be any better in engineering terms than the previous versions

I saw the prototype of this at the last show, it was very quiet indeed compared to the metal one. The added benefit is plastic which doesn't rust like metal. The bars obviously help to stop the hose from coming over the reel.

In regards to the overspooling issue, I'm not sure how old some of you guys reels are but I know they changed the overspin adjustment a year or so ago. My PowerUp is only a couple of months old and I have 0 issue with overspooling. So I'm sure this new reel will be the same.

Ordered mine yesterday lads, I been using a powerup addon kit since they first came out years ago so it will certainly be an upgrade on that, I just wasn’t interested in the powerup hd or the pure freedom reel but this looks decent and the price sold it straight away, I thought it would be a £5-600 reel and they’re gonna be selling them for £420 plus vat after next week, the £350 plus vat is a week offer Jordan said so get one ordered now if you fancy one lads?

First day using mine today, can’t fault it at all!

wouldnt day its any faster then my old powerup addon reel as I had that set up absolutely spot on but there’s been no worry about hose slipping over and getting caught in any chain etc.

its so quiet too being belt drive and the whole thing just feels really solid!
