Am I able to attach a hose safely onto the reels to clean conservatories etc?

If you mean a customer's tap then yes.
However, with microbore hose you won't get much flow unless the customer's water pressure is very good.
If you try it then you will need to flush the tap water out of the hose reel when you are finished as it won't be pure.
We take our hose reels out of the van and connect them up to van ports. If we empty the hose of water that we use to connect the hose reel to the van port then we know when we have replaced the water in the hose reel when water starts spluttering at the brush..
Always check the first few windows after you have done this.
My suggestion is to take a 1/2" garden hose on a hose reel. That's what we do from time to time. I made up an adaptor from the hozelock connector to the pole hose.
Nowadays I just use the water on the van.
