Wanted to get my boy (13) out to work with me but didnt want to pay for a CLX10, so found one of these in my garage with no gooseneck and a broken top section.

So ive ditched to section, drilled through the black bung at the base, made a tubless length of pipe and popped a rectus male on it, and installed a univalve.

The poles ideal for him as it weighs next to nothing. Ill even use it myself on my round as i have 1 day which is entirely bungalows.

Ill post pic of the finished article once ive got gooseneck.

Thanks to @Green Pro Clean Ltd for the youtube video of you making one out of a harris pole, which gave me the idea.

What have you guys made from scratch rather than spend good money on?

I have made a roof scraper cost nothing , and a roof spraying head , and numerous gutter vac ends .also make my own  tubless conversion kits

I remember doing german and french. german for tv always made me laugh,- fernsehapparat. Literally 'viewing apparatus' Also the french for breakfast , - Le petit dejeuner - 'The little dinner'

My own pump trolley system 

My own internal pure water glass cleaning system with pulse mist application using a surgical dosing pump and arduino mini microcontroller

Push fit hose stop £2.00

Total cost £7.00

4' 4" long, light as a feather, the sections are now sealed so it does not extend.

My 13yr old is now gonna be earning, teach em the value of money from a young age. ??
