Evening everyone.

Ive been out today to carry out a first clean and encountered 3 year old sellotape and residue stuck to the frames. My first time finding this problem.

First off.. I HATE TAPE!

What are the best methods/tools to get this stuff of nightmares off?!

Thank you!

Sticky stuff remover from B&Q or solvent cleaner like double glazing firms use and a plastic spatula will get it off but I hate it as well ???

T&G Remover, tar and glue, will remove anything like this. There are cheaper things, I think someone mentioned WD40 does it but never tried myself

Thank you both..

I had to take myself away from it and have a word with myself before getting back to it ?‍♂️?

My boy is a plumber and they use wd40 to remove mastic from tiles.

For tape I use nail varnish remover.

Has to be the stuff that contains acetone as it dissolves glue very quickly.
