Hi I'm new to wfp and currently buy my water from spotless water which is only around the corner from me. However it cost about £11 a day so I'm thinking of producing my own what the best way I don't want to do it through the van I'd rather have a tank in the shed then pump to the van when needed I've been quoted about £1200 for a static purification system is that too much or about right

Have a word with the water purification guru @doug atkinson, tell him what you want and I'm sure he'll sort you out. Like everything in this job you get what you pay for.

As Derbyshire is a hard water area that sounds about right, you also need to know if you have good enough water pressure for a 40/40 R/O otherwise you'll need a booster pump read this https://windowcleaningforums.co.uk/topic/32395-boost-water-pressure/ there is only one man on here that most of us buy R/O's from and that is @doug atkinson of https://daqua.co.uk/ro_systems.htm also cheaper than £1,200,  Doug really knows his stuff and builds the systems himself and gets them ready to go for a buyer to use straight out of the box I believe

I use a basic R/O with being in a soft water area also it depends if your quote included a booster pump
