Hi has anybody used one of these to repair/ split a hose  ?

Have a 30 meter hose that's way to long for most jobs so was going to split in half if anybody had experience of doing so..

Cheers

I wouldn't even consider a repair personally. The potential for an even more dangerous failure or hose whip could be horrendous.

Do you not have a local hose and hydraulic specialist near you. Maybe £20 spent and they could repair with a high pressure fitting or crimped joiner

30m really isn't that long, I'm surprised you'd want to have two 15m pieces instead.

I assume though that you're using a trolley or backpack or something similar so might not have it on a reel, in which case I can see why you'd want to keep it short.

It seems like you're looking for a way to remove half of it, but then reconnect it if you need the extra length?

You could use a slick connect? They're good as they can handle getting dragged around.
