Evening All, an existing customer asked for a quote for gutter cleaning. Big apartment block, counted over 30 brackets each side of the building. Only one side is full as it's under a tree. They would like to do it every 6 months. I'm not sure how to quote. Would £300 be too low? Not desperate for more work, too busy with windows, but that's 10th customer asking for gutter cleaning this month, I may quote high and if successful will buy Skyvac Atom with 7 poles and try to find a day for it... or subcontract this to someone local with experience (please PM if interested).

Do you scrape or vacuum all gullies first (accessible from balconies)? Or offer this as a separate service, as its part of a roof cleaning?

One more question; if you were busy with window cleaning would you add guter cleaning anyway to give customer this option or will you concentrate on one proffesional service?

How did you get the photos of the roof?. We don't do all of the gullies, we will remove the heavy clumps at the bottom where it meets the gutter and possibly a bit more but definitely not to the top. If easy access from balconies then yes but would quote it as a separate job and have a disclaimer against knocking cement out from under the tiles, very easily done.

Would be very difficult to get the gutter in the roof. £300 would be my price if I was desperate for it. Probably £400 min if it was a regular, yearly, job. I  can easily gross over £800 a day, usually average at least £1k a day doing jobs just like that one. I must be the only window cleaner that earns most of their money from November to March
