New Clamps for SLX25

Has anyone fitted the new facelift phantom clamps to a Gardiner SLX. Is it even possible?

Reason for asking: I have a 5 year old SL-X25 with very little wear. Only been used for half a day/month if that since new. However, the pole has become stiff to use due to the clamps being left tightened when not in use and now they don’t open properly when opening the thumb lever. So thinking of fitting some new clamps.
