Gravity fed pumps vs hose fed pumps

Hi All, I've recently changed my van mounted system, the old was a facelift compact 450l where a hose fed from the top of the tank and dropped to the bottom and the pump had to draw out water, my new tank is a framed wyevale 650l where the outlet is at the bottom.

I've noticed that the flow rate on the new tank is much quicker, even though I am using the same pumps, controllers, calibration settings, hose, poles and brushes, would this be due to the water pressure in the new tank, whereas the old one, the pump would have to work that bit harder to draw out the water?

This is by no means an issue, just an observation that I am curious about. Any information welcome, Dale

I would've thought so, I always think my water flow is greater at the start of the day when the tank is full.
