Ohh that's a bit steep !!

Right so someone wanted a quote for a 4 bed detached house first clean with gutters soffits and fascia cleaned and conservatory plus roof . I quoted £130

And he said that's too expensive pretty sure some of you lot would get double that ?

Ive got a 4bed to do Friday, with GFS and a full on window clean but no conservatory and im £200 i was the cheapest of 3 quotes by £40 & £80

Pricing is all to do with customer perception of what he/she believes the cost should be.

After spending money on a lovely conservatory some just can't believe that it costs money to the clean the windows and maintain it.

You will always get those who compare their hourly wage with what they would expect to pay to have their windows cleaned. If they are earning the minimum wage then you cleaning their windows in 20 minutes means they should at most be paying you £5.

Then you get the business owners who pay the minimum wage. They are conditioned to paying low so expect the same from pricing of service providers.

Then you will get window cleaners working minimum hours claiming benefits who keep their prices low.

We've always said that if you get all the jobs you price your pricing is too low. If you get none of the jobs you quote then your price is too high. About right would be 40 to 60% of the jobs you quote.
