Would welcome your recommendations for a company to fit out my Fiat Doblo (1050kg payload) with 650L tank, probably a heater and 2-man system.

I am currently looking at two companies.... Aquapure in Preston and C&L Crystal Cleaning Ltd in Basildon, Essex but significant difference in price for what looks like a very similar set up

I live in a hard water area in Sussex so am looking at an RO and DI system.

Thanks in advance.

I have not used either company but here are my observations:

AquaPure in Preston appears to be run from the owners home. They have listed a 2013 Peugeot Partner 850 listed on ebay and they have installed a 650lts tank! So plus a frame, leisure battery, hose reel etc you will be at nearly 750kg so you only have 100kg for driver and passenger if you are lucky! So not sure I would trust them.

The C&L Crystal Cleaning Ltd in Basildon, Essex, don't really seem to be specialists in wfp van systems.

I think if you are considering a full instal including heat then you need to look at more reputable/established companies.

Have a search here and I am sure you will find other people looking at van installs and see which companies they use.

Have a search for companies like X-Line, windowcleaningwarehouse Facelift systems, Streamline, Grippatank, to name but a few - not that I have any personal experience of those either.

Thanks.  Just both appear to be in my budget. Like any new subject, I guess it just takes a while to get  acquainted  with system and components.

Hello Part timer,

I think it will be within the 1050kg payload but I will bear in mind your advice. Budget is around 4k, but quotes so far are nearer 5k so far.

Looking at pure freedom, Grimsby and Pure2o in Swindon. Both look good, but it's all new to me.

Booster pump for filling cycle? I'm guessing that's what you mean. I haven't done flow/pressure test at home, but both pretty good.

Thanks

If you have room to produce and store your water outside of the van you will only need a delivery unit installing. This method is far and away the easiest cheapest method.  If you have a full van mount then you really are pushing the weight allowance and filling time without booster pump will be 5 or 6 hours, with booster, max 3

One thing to watch is that payload total has to also include driver and passengers if necessary! So say 650kg water, 650 tank 50kg, frame 20kg, battery 25kg, reel and hose 20kg, 75kg driver so you are now at 840kg. This is plus your water processing kit and a passenger if you have one? So you may be closer to your 1050kg limit than you think.

Here's another. On here for 6 months and then never seen since. I hope they didn't give up.

Get the cheapest quote you can and pure o2 will match the price like for like there stuff is good , pure freedom stuffs ok , I hear reasonable reports on x line but be careful with some of the others .

Ah thanks spruce I didn’t check the date ??? I don't understand why these ones come on hear ask questions and don’t come back , it’s pig ignorant ones take the time and effort to reply and the op cannot Evan be bothered to look for answers.
The only upside is that our reply might be of help to someone else reading it.
