Put new reel fittings on hose reel

im trying to set van up for 2,   been a headache today,  all going good then daft things happen.

i usually use hozelock  fitting  on the reel with a swivel hozelock fitting

Changed them over today  to these  Pro 26 End Stop - Minibore - 8mm Barb  from Gardiners 

with these fittings on hose Quality Rectus 26 type female Water Fed Pole Window Cleaning Hose Coupling 13mm | 

i normally use Hozelock fitting to reel.       Would this change the water supply coming out of the reel when pump on.        Some reason the water is slowing and stopping  coming out of reel tap.

Trying to set up as a 2 man setup , 2 everything.    would these fittings some how affect the water supply  from reel.

i wouldnt think they should cause a restriction  of water flow

i replaced my old elbow swivel hozelock    for these
