I seem to be getting quite a few problems with my 25L Xline Trolly system

seem to be trapped air

any ideas in stopping this

a couple of times I’ve let the water run dry

I’ve tried to control this but I do forget sometimes

If I recall the 25L version is very similar to the Pure Freedom trolley.  If it is, What size hose goes into the barrel?  If it is a large bore hose like say 12-13mm ID, try changing it for 8mm ID hose.  Since I did this with my PF trolley I've had no problems with airlocks with either the Sureflo or the smaller pump I use now, and I run almost all my barrels dry.  Before you prime the pump after a barrel change, disconnect the hose at the trolley first. Then switch on the controller and the pump should prime in just a few seconds.

I think all the PF trolleys have come with the smaller bore hose for some time now.

Yes mate the hose is around 12mm (garden hose size ? )

I’ll have a look to see if I can change to 8 mm

cheers
I don't know what pump Xline uses.  mine had a Sureflo originally.  You might need an adapter.  Mine did.  I'm currently using a backpack pump which doesn't need an adapter
