Company tax super deduction

Could somebody please tell me what it's about in simple terms please.

I'm looking at buying a laptop for £1500 how would this effect my cooperation tax if my tax bill for example was £5000.

I believe its only for companies that have a gross peofit minimum of 250k

I believe that as long as it fits the remit you can get an extra 30% allowance. So if you spend £1500 it will calculate to an allowance of £1950 off your profits rather than £1500, but I'm not an Accountant
