I know here if the previous cleaners used certain dish soaps or too much soap the residue is released when I wfp the window the first time. The result is white spots. In those cases I simply scrub them w/ the wfp then go on. I come back for a second scrub of just the glass (staying about a inch from the top frame) which takes care of any residue spots left on the glass.
