hi just wondering ive been doin this 2 year and spent thousands on vans, poles, tanks, resin, barrels etc etc , got 5 workers on poles etc so u can imagine the amount i spend. can all these things ive bought on the business be claimed back? or VAT i paid be claimed back? or are these costs only of use to me in terms of declaring them to work out my profits for tax reasons? im sure ive heard other businesses gettin money back or help on equipment bought by the government

well when u buy something just get a invoice... an make sure its got a tax reference/code on it and put it thru ya books mate

very simple

yes i have one n kept all my receipts, im self employed and he does my tax etc , so they are good to keep tax low as most of my turnover isnt profit as i keep reinvesting, i just wondered if the government actually gave us hard cash back for business expenditure?
