Made a discovery today -

the hoses that connect to my water heater inlet / outlet sometimes get kinked and stop the flow - turning off the burner.

disconnected the inlet hose, and screwed on a shower hose - with the silver plastic reinforcement round the outside.

Can't kink, good flow - should last for ages.

Happy days!

Dave

Sounds good to me! I really wan't to look into heated water systems for my van, even though we've had a good winter where I'm at we've still had a couple of days with the hose/pole freezing over. How do you rate them Hinty?

Wouldn't go back - 10/10

Faster - dirt melts off the windows, particularly snail trails

Easier - hoses are more supple

Better - first cleans are soo much faster - esp green conservatories

Also find that the water curtains beter on Hydrophilic glass (apparently it has a lower surface tension)

Have a look at my "kept me working" post
