when you have to wfp the window above a conny/extension and have to be square on to it, ie not from the side, it can be hard to move the brush up and down due to the low angle of the pole, anyway i've found it makes it easier if you roll your wrists back and forth like a twisting action as you move up and down /emoticons/sad.png

 
yeah, basically, i'm not sure how to describe it, just a slight twist left then right as you push up, don't need to do it downwards.

as if you're trying to put weight on one side of the brush. ever moved a washing machine on your own and 'walked' it on either side? bit like that
