Ebay

Hope somebody can help. I need to put a few items up for a friend, never sold on Ebay before, can somebody advise on what their commission rates/structure is, Ive looked on site, found 10% upto £75 but cant seem to find anything if the value of the item is over that. Thanks in advance

All depends on the category you listing the items in Catherine.. I know clothes have a high commission.. Mobile phones, electronics are lower..

Then it will also depend how you list, auction or buy now, or both.. Also how much your listing will start at.. 99p start is free.. And the higher the start the more they will want..

eBay makes too much money!!

you still pay a comission but you dont have to pay fee to list the item, think its 10% only if it sells but not sure becuase i havent use ebay in a while

Ah yes, I see what you mean - I had a quick look round, my friends a magician - so its his illusions that im trying to sell for him - so in the buy and sell pages are their specialist stuff?

Put it up for sale on one of the pages! in some of the ones near me they advertise clowns etc and kids entertainers! so should be of interest to someone!

Now and again you will see specialist stuff am sure you will get a good interest in that sort of stuff you are selling!
