No, definitely not. As with any business it’s up to the ability of the individual. The equipment or knowledge is available to all, its people that are different. So you’re going to get successful taxi drivers & successful window cleaners. The control with pricing is better & higher for window cleaning.Do you reckon there's more money in it than window cleaning?

Maybe it’s the cycle of business trades; I remember in the 80’s becoming a plumber became common knowledge and that you could get a very high income for what Joe public use to think ‘it’s just a plumbing job’There was money in it years ago, my dad did it, worked all hours god sent, but was on a good 70k a year, with a very small tax bill. as with w/c, more competition, and cheaper price companies popping up all over the place doing it cheaper.!!
Funny thing is - if they approached window cleaning differently i.e. just by having a minimum of £15, £20 or £25, there not competing with large number of window cleaners right from the start. That's the trouble Richard as so many are getting into window cleaning using wfp kit then charging way to little to gain work to try to compete with others in their area.
Saturation is getting a big problem in my area also low pricing. Only a couple of days ago I watched someone at the front of my house take out a brand new trolley system from the back of his car. The guy pulled the trolley along, wife carried the larger pole and the daughter carried the shorter pole. They were knocking doors to see who wanted their windows cleaned. Not one household took them up on their offer. Go figure :Image3:
