Looking to buy my kit over the next few days, know pretty much what i want for traditional set up from reading the sticky at the top of this thread but not quite sure about ladders. I'm looking at targeting domestic only, 2 stories max so would i need 2 stage or 3 stage ladders?

Ones i have been looking at are:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0011E1Q3Y/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B0011E1Q3Y&linkCode=as2&tag=golfbackdril-21

http://www.windowcleaningwarehouse.co.uk/shop/index.php?option=com_aceshop&route=product/product&path=16_104&product_id=2654

what would others recommend and are there any safety accessories i should get at the same time?

cheers

Richard

I'd go for the second option, plus they're cheaper here at £92 and have swivel feet http://www.midlandladders.com/products/Double_3_0m_9ft10_Trade_Light_Industrial_Ladder-10-7.html

Thanks for the replies. Found some good deals on ladders-999 also but still not whether 2 stage or 3 stage is better.

tuffers is right 2 stage ladder is all need for domestics i still work from my ladder and also clean loads of domestics gutters etc mines a 2 section and its only ever let me down once

What size do you have, ladder that is :Image3:

i have a double 10 rung and a triple 10 rung (for 3storey)

the double 10 is my main ,does all normal houses and is small enough to go down alleyways and is a good size to split and go over gates with

. my ladders are trade ladders made by LYTE and i buy mine thru Browns ladders, online

i brought mine years back so not 100% sure, i got a few sets of ladders now i started out with 5 meter p/s industrial ladder but then went for a smaller one (3.5 meter per section) as its lighter less straining and could do more in a day on it plus its a much easier day using it and like tuffers said time = money, plus if you go for a massive ladder it can be a right pain getting through peoples houses and down entries and through tight gates and all the other obstacles we encounter on a daily basis.
