Got my ladders and traditional kit should arrive tomorrow but I am thinking there may be occasions that there are difficult to reach windows or not practical with a ladder, which poles would be best and what length, I'm going to be targeting mainly 2 story houses. Have seen a lot mentioned about Harris pole, where is it available?

harris poles are good, you can get them from most diy shops. B&Q being the first option.
you can get 2 sizes, 3m and a 5m. the 5m one will be better for you

in BnQ next to the Harris poles are smaller telescopic Anza poles. these are great poles for window cleaning and have a tip that is a really good fit for most squeegees
its also worth the effort to graft a tip off an Anza onto your harris pole . you need to file out the inside of the tip with a needle file so it will fit on ,takes about 30 minutes to do it ,but well worth it in my opinion
