Ro Booster Pump

Hi everyone

where do u put your RO booster pump? before your pre filters or before your RO membrane? And does the position make a difference at all?

FYI mine is before the pre filters and boosts the pressure from 35psi to 70psi

mines after pre filters and before the membraines. thats how it came form the supplier.

Mine was fitted after prefilters by Pure Freedom and it means from a tap ppm of around 320 it drops it to around 6 and produces roughly 300 litres of pure an hour. Mine is van mounted which also means I can fill up on site very quickly if required.

It makes the most sense to put if after the pre filters, as pump life will increase with fewer sediments in the water.
