I've been asked to quote for a place by the river near where I live, the whole rear of the property is made of glass! There are hard to reach windows that are really dirty. My trolley system is good and the pole I use is enough at 24ft.

2nd storey doors have safety type balcony bars on them but can be cleaned from the inside.

I think it will take me about 3 hours and she wants it done 8 weekly.

So what I am asking is how much do you think I should quote and do you have customer that agree to high priced domestic work.

Thanks.

sounds to me it's going to be a pig of a job to do. What are the frames made of as oxidation can be a real pain in the **** too?

Got any pic's?

You can get through some of them bars that are close to the glass. You just have to angle your brush 90°. Sounds loaded, charge her mega.

Charge enough to make it:

a) worth doing on even a day it would be hard to do (hot sunny days when suns on the glass)

b) exciting to clean as you look forward to getting your hands on cash

TRUE!

Think the way you are going you soon will need a van mount if you don't already have one...Nice one :Image9:

Thanks for the input.

I quoted £75 based on 8 weekly....she has accepted!

Thanks Smurf, just a trolley with 25lt drums at the moment...so Popeye arms soon!

4 more customers picked up since Monday, I'm very much still learning because I specialise in pressure washing.

I only started windows because of my little girls school asked me to do their windows...I am really enjoying the regular work from it. I only have 30 customers on the windows since April....but that includes 3 monthly b&b's and 2 schools twice a year. I have not advertised the window cleaning much yet only Facebook and most has come from word of mouth.
