Hi,

Not quite sure what these do. I thought that it was to hold the ladder out so it doesn`t touch the guttering but looking at the website it still does touch. Is it only for holding the ladder secure against the tiles? Sorry if its a dumb question

You set the ladder so it is away from the guttering. Simples...

Ladders also flex/bounce so is another good reason why I use an ankalad stabaliser (blue outriggers) as well as a microlite for hand jobs.
