Combo Gear Linkage Problem

Hi just wonder if any one could help or give advice.

Ive got a 2004 vauxhall combo 1.7di.

75k on the clock

Well driving home today as I changed gear the gear stick went all loose.

Now it will only select some gears. No reverse ..!!

Looking on google it says its a common problem.

Any one had this problem and if so what was the out come.

Looks to me like its the gear selector.

Im going to take it to the garage in the morning

All fixed for now........

After watching a you tube video I pop bonnet and seen the problem .

Gear linkage had popped off at 1 side.

So popped it back on and hey presto.

All working again.

Surpose thats what happens when they use plastic engine parts
