Hi everyone today my van broke down n had to be towed home as the gear cable snapped while in gear..iv had my used van about 8month n this is first time anything bads happened to it but with winter starting its come at a really bad time.

Im considering selling the van and getting a new or near new one on finance. Not sure what best course of action is.

Used vans can cost a fortune to repair n means time of work and generally have far less fuel efficiency. New vans are better in those areas but monthly pay ments can be high.not sure what to do but just want something reliable and cheaper to run all round.

Sorry to hear that bud.

Guess only you can decide if it’s worth getting repaired or instead what replacement van you could afford. Just need to bear in mind anything you get just because it’s newer doesn’t mean it won’t go wrong eventually too.
