40inch RO

Hello, I got a 40inch RO in a job lot I brought, I currently am using a pure freedom RO which is completely different to this one. When I start to put water through it water only comes out the waste pipe and nothing out the purer pipe. Why is this?

There should be a valve/tap somewhere on it to switch from flush to producing pure

I don't know if I'm being stupid but I cannot find it anywhere!

You will have to fit one then i bet, post some pics of it.

Its fitted in the waste outlet, its just a ball valve threaded into a nylon port.



If you look on the left hand side at the bottom of my 4040, you can see a valve with a grey pipe attached.

The reason its only coming out of the waste is cause if you dont partially shut the valve its just flushing the membrane
