Wireless controller problems

Hi guys,

I've just wired up a cheap Chinese wireless controller off of eBay for my pump box but I'm having interference problems. The controller has a great range to turn the pump on but once the pump is running the effective range to turn it off again is about 1m!

If I disconnect the pump I can hear the switch of the wireless receiver happily switching on and off again at long range.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm even happy to buy another wireless remote controller but just don't know what to get now. Don't want to waste more money!

Hi mate, have you thought about using a pump with a pressure switch and a tap of sorts for your pole. It is a lot more efficient I find than wireless controllers

Thanks Jimmy, might have to consider that route if I can't resolve this.

I am only interested in buying that red tap as mine got lost. Anybody knows if you can buy them separate and where???
