We all get on well round here. Only last week 3 of us were having a chat for about half hour. It's good to know how others are getting on.

I watched 2 blokes cleaning a car showroom at 6:30 am last Saturday morning while I was having a drive through macadee's. Massive panes of glass and they were using what looked like 14" applicators on a pole. They had WFP in the back of the van too. Just found it odd that they didn't use it.

I had a text out of the blue from one guy saying if I was interested to take over some car showrooms. My reply was no thanks as starting at 6:30 is the dead of night for me /emoticons/biggrin.png

i know quite a few other windies ,as you do, and some iv put work their way . some iv never had a word of thanks nor anything no matter how small sent my way in return- for these ungrateful beggars i definitely take their jobs from under them as and when the opportunity arises

I spotted two in whitby and one here in robin hoods bay.....i was lay in the bath two mornings ago and heard the familiar rattling of ladders. Sure enough, it was a windowcleaner across the road. I watched his every move from the bathroom window and did notice that he didnt wipe any sill or frame and never ever detailed. Good job he didnt realise there was a naked man lay in a bath spying on him!. I'm not weird.....honest.

Good stuff, I like stories like this, it restores my faith in society. I hope you took his number too, as you invariably get offered jobs that are only suitable for WFP that would be great to return the favour. I hada woman a while back that was desperate to have her windows cleaned, she sounded like a good sort, and it was a good size house, but the windows were just impossible to do trad (Georgians, all above porches, extensions etc). The best part was that she was prepared to pay good money for it, but unfortunately I just don't know any local WFPers to hand it over to.

i did nt take his number for some reason probably still dumbstruck when he asked for mine but if he did ever ring id do the same for him no worries lol
