You'd ideally want the female Rectus 21 fitting on your pole hose and not on the tap in the pic. The reason being is that the water in the pole hose won't drain out when disconnected. I had that tap and liked it, but the little screw on the top kept coming loose, so I glued it in the end.
I was thinking of going 6mm on the hose reel but pure freedom don't sell it I beleive due to excessive strain on the pump? Getting mixed views on this but need to decide soon as I'm sorting my first ever entire wfp set up.!
I was thinking of the claber metal reel as that holds 100m of microbore 6mm and that being a good budget hose reel?
I did not like it so tried an aquadapter instead which found very good. But might also be worth looking at the aquatap too but can say if that one is any good as I've not tried one yet.
Lol that listing isn't selling it mate /emoticons/biggrin.png
Did you cut off the end of your pole to fit that aquadapter?
As I said I don't necessarily know if a tap is a good idea as I haven't even started wfp yet! I'm getting my system in the next few weeks so am lapping up all the knowledge from other forum members so I can avoid as many mistakes as possible
