i think you guys look at yourselves like workers in a company , you are proffessionals you have to buy vans and all theses weird contrapions to clean something which a few years ago would have taken ages, you dont spend silly money on wfp only to undercut yourself saying oh ill do it quicker. and then ine day you might need a worker for such a job and then how much will be left.

and lastly YOU guys are creating your own market out there and do it responsibly leave yourselfs a future cos the imigrant will undercut your price no matter how low it is

Not as long as us Irish are here son. And we can operate contrapions and other weird things.

tik tik,

You must be aware that a 'workers' pay 'over here' as you put it is considered quite good if he's taking £64 for an 8 hour day - yes that's £8 per hour.

So any one that has just quit his £8 per hour gig to try and better himself is going to think he's on a winner if he can make £15 per hour. You will find it's newbies that do the undercutting!

My van runs at £40 per hour (I should say my time but for this example I use my van) if I had 2 lads that's £10 per hour each to them and £20 to the company which in England mate is considered a good days work.

You Aussies, Kiwis Yanks / all talk of your $200 cleans and how this house or that house took all day but here we talk about £10 - £30 jobs mostly, yesterday I worked 8 - 1:30 by myself and banked £205 - yep that's $432 Aussie dollars at todays exchange rate and that's a pretty average day.

The £150 I quoted on here for this job is $316 Aussie dollars for about 3 hours work, if you can turn your nose up just over $105 per hour wages then fair play is all I have to say!
