Evening all

Website is all up and running. What do you all think. Any suggestions. Gallery and other page is still under construction.

Not sure if I missed it but if youhavent got it then I would recommend getting some form of online payment set up on it, make it work for you a little.

He was supposed to set up paypal on there. Forgot about that bit.

Is there anything else that would be good to do to get me higher up on Google pages ?

Or more to the point how do I get higher on there other than paying for it

I'm no expert but if you link your facebook to it with a live feed then that is apparently good for it.

I think he has linked it. He done that so my reviews on facebook go on there.

Or is there other way to do it. I am completely clueless with all this. Just using Facebook was hard enough to get my head around

Websites I have seen have a little box on the front page with a live feed, facebooks not my cupotea so I havent got it, but I have heard its a good way to work up the google rankings. Hopefully someone more knowledgeable can come and advise. For me, I just try and get plenty of hits on mine, and a few key words that are trad specific, and mine went up quite quickly. I also ask my custies to go to my site and pay on there which gets it hits. I recommend having it in your sig here too as that brings in a lot of traffic with all the nosey bastardos on here./emoticons/biggrin.png

There is that I suppose. It also means that your custies can see what you are writing if they were interested. Pros and cons, but it has certainly boosted my site up the rankings without any adwords or whatever it is that google makes you pay for. Like they say, immitation is the highest form of flattery.

I don't need to worry about ranking, I'm top in my area,

I had my closest competitors copy a lot of my website, and it's very frustrating, morons.

I spent good money on my website, and wrote all the content myself, so it really annoyed me to see them copy it!

For that reason, I'm always reluctant to openly give it out on the forum, because there will be plenty who copy it, sad, but that what happens,

Loads on here know my website, but I wouldn't leave it in the signiture, because then any old scally wag can view it and copy bits...

He's a nice bloke, and I do like him, but he asked way too many questions for my liking, it was a step to far to be honest,

He said he didn't want to rank above me, but just wanted a better looking website, he means well, but that's just one step too far...
