Ineed it does but if you price 1.5x for 6 weekly what you would 4 weekly you will earn more per year
But you have to have a bigger customer base to achieve that. What happens when a 6 weekly wants to go 12 weekly? If half the customers do that then he will need an even bigger customer base.

The reason why he charges more for a longer gap between cleans is that he has to work harder to clean them. That takes longer, so his income won't increase by the exact % increase between 4 weekly and 6 weekly.

If we get behind like we are now, each clean is like a first clean, especially with the weather we have had over winter. I would love to be able to get back to a maintenance clean as it takes half the time. Granted, we live on the coast and the windows are always dirty from the sea. There is a big difference between windows cleaned 4 weekly as apposed to those cleaned every 6 weeks.

For me its absolutely every 4 weeks.

If i sense that money is an issue i then say that if they really feel its an issue then it can be moved to 8 weekly but there is a 50% additional charge.

I dont like to do that though, due to the fact that if the rest of my customers found out and opted for that id have only half the work! *gulp*

I find that if done on a four weekly basis sometimes you are there twice in the same pay month and this can be a strain to some

For this reason I try to get everyone on a six week clean.

The ones that ask for eight I say I book everyone six weekly because with the weather etc sometimes it slips to eight anyway.

Seems to work on most but I still have eight week custys as well

Six weeks works great

If anyone asks for less frequent I just say sorry I don't offer that ( unless it's a very big overpriced job ) but it's very rare anyone does

@spruce its not harder week cleaning at 6 weeks ( maybe odd house next to main Rd ) @Diwrnach thought you'd gone off and become a monk ?? Welcome back

Six is the sweet spot I've found.

And lol nah just got real busy and got out of the habit of checking the forum.

My 'monthly round usually runs at 6 weeks, and agree its definitely the sweet spot between dirt vs pay, vs custy happiness. So long as you have work booked every day, what does it matter.
