Welcome Nick ,

That was handy that you just turned up at this point   i dont think people we moaning about the products that you sell it is just the price seems to be very high compared to others and also ionics we are not like ciu most of the people on here are beginners and we are trying to give the best advice possible with out it costing to much.

Well spotted Mark

Ionic_Systems_BDM, whoever you might be, I think that it would have been nice if you had put your name at the bottom of your post so that we could know who we are really dealing with. I feel that you were being a bit over sensitive at the end of your hard week, I fear you will need to develop a thicker skin if you are going to hang around the forums. Rather than grumbling about the knockers you would be better served by finding out what it is about the Ionic approach that so many people find unpalatable and doing something to fix it.

I don't think I could really be interpreted as knocking Ionics on the basis of what I wrote, In fact in another post the same evening I recommended someone use Ionics pole hose which I regard as very good. However I do think that the Hotbox is expensive, at the end of the day it is a box with a smallish number of pretty low tech components which costs £3000 or so, for just £4500 you can but a brand new car which consists of many thousands of components, some of them of a rather higher tech level. The numbers just don't add up. I would have thought that a company with the resourses of Ionics could bring to the marketplace a more affordable product which could be a genuine benefit to probably tens of thousands of window cleaners in just the UK, let alone the wider European marketplace, who according to the long range forecasts are probably facing another very cold winter.

It would be very nice if you were to hang around and contribute the occasional post that was genuinely friendly, helpful and beneficial to the members, after all you guys do have a good deal of knowledge and experience that you could share for the benefit of the community. But try as I might I cannot recollect ever reading a post from Ionic that fulfills those criteria.

Have a nice weekend.

Martyn.

well put martyn

people on CIU apparently make 500 quid a day so they can afford it /emoticons/tongue.png but we cant /emoticons/tongue.png lol

Well, I have had lots of dealing with ionic the past year.

I highly recommend you dont buy there poles, I brough the 17 and 28ft grafter, BIGGEST MISTAKE IN MY LIFE.

These broke every 5 minute, the clamps are rubbish on them, i only work 4 days a week for 5 hours a day. so not over used, i sent my poles back 5 times, as they would not give me a refund, £10 in postage and a 15 mile drive to send them back every time. days with out work whilst they put a little glue on them and sent them back to me, 3 weeks later same problem.

Now they are over a year old, they wont fix/replace them, so now they have lost a customer, I hope ionics lose lots more customers, once i let every window forum know how they treat there customers.!!!! Discusting customer service. avoild like the plague.!!

Once again' date=' I'll stick with my Aquarium 300w heater (which is fully submersible) at £9.99 and £100 for a leisure battery, now that's Asda price and does the trick![/quote']squeak what do i need to set up the aquarium heater ? How does it work?

Thanks for posting as is always good to here what issues ppl have with any company or product. /emoticons/wink.png
