Finally got to use my aquadapter for first time today. Can feel a difference in weight when pole is stretched out. But it's definitely a great bit of kit.. Im glad I won't have to hold the hose & tap in between my fingers anymore..

Your right mk, why didn't I get one before!!

Make sure to get a replacement spring. They cost peanuts and is the only

Real weak spot I found.

I stopped using mine and went to remote. Tbh prefer the remote now after a year or so.

Iv had nowt but bother with the springs one went today again on mine I think it's time to get Tap. What tap do u use big H is it belt one

i will buy you a new tap for you for every going wrong aqua- adapter /emoticons/biggrin.png

Well had 3 days of using my aquadapter, and can say I'm pleased with my purchase! There is sometimes it can be a pain reaching to tug the hose... There was a few times I was tugging ( lol ) and it didn't turn off.. Also a few times I stepped on the hose and it turned itself on!!

I always had the tap in my hand and could turn off and on I think slightly quicker.. Now with the aqua i have to set the pole to the side to tug the hose.. But I was getting annoyed hold the tap all the time especially when hands are freezing..

Hi Belfast,

You know you can operate it at the top as well?

Paul
Hey Paul, you mean just pulling the thing back? When the pole is down and I'm doing bottoms it's fine as I can hold the pole in 1 hand off the glass, but will give that a try.. Then when doing upstairs I was setting the brush on the wall beside the window so I could free one hand to tug the hose. When I was using the tap I could keep both hands on pole and still be able to turn water on and off with fingers!

You can turn the tap by hand, or pull the carriage back with your hand and release.

When doing the upstairs windows, you can normally rest the brush on the glass momentarily as it only takes a moment to pull the hose and control the water. Be careful resting the brush on the wall, usually you don't want your brush to touch anywhere that could pick up dirt or grit that could be transferred to the window.

Hope this helps.

Paul

Got the orange hose mate' date=' quite stiff[/quote']The hose gets better after a couple of weeks. It's best not to coil it too tightly when packing away, and try to keep the twist out of it, then it lays flat better when working.

Paul

I don't understand how people do the tap idea then.

Is the tap attached to the pole with a massive loop?

Is the tap somewhere else?

Top of the brush?

Trigger?

Always intrigued me.

I still use my remote which works fine, looking at running from the van tho this year so may need a tap.

Thanks for the link.

Need to order some more hose soon as well
