Best Van?

Hey guys I'm looking to set up a new van with a 650l tank and purification system in van. I was wondering what the best van would be..

Im saving up for a transit, and will be installing either a 500/650 tank

I've got a vivaro at the minute but was wondering if I could get a smaller van.. looking to start up on my own.

You would struggle to get a smaller van that can carry that weight, to carry 650lts you will need a van with a payload of a minimum of 1000kg.

I'm sure you could fit a 500lt in a dispatch or expert.. Would you need 650lt for yourself?

Probably not to start with but always need a bit extra incase I decide to expand.. wasn't really wanting to get aanything as big as a vivaro tho..

Depending what model of dispatch you get the payload of 1000kg - 1200kg which is good for a smallish van.
Anything smaller you are only looking around around 600kg.

I use a berlingo and carry 400lts of water. That's enough for me to work a full day, between £250-£300 a day.

I'm toying with getting the new shape VW Caddy. I think the payload is 750kg. Will there be enough room to fit poles in the back people? I will probably use a 350L tank (one went for 53 quid on fleabay last night, caged too). Tank that is and not the van /emoticons/ohmy.png

don't buy the 200 swb low roof only 675kg the l.w.b defo better for money my first mistake but did come with the set up so haven't much money in it

I was looking around a lot last year, Transits are good but have rust issues , mate has an 07 thats disintegrated before his eyes, before i bought my lwb vivaro 115 hp i was going to get a Dispatch with a 650 tank, glad i got the bigger van now, its amazing how you fill the van up lol

My van is a vauxhall combo with the 800 payload.

Best van ever had as sparky was vauxhall Astra had 3 of em not a days prob all 1.7td don't know what weight limit was but one filled one with left over tiles from an Olympic sized swimming pool front wheels barely touched the road but still pulled great worst van citroen relay nearly new fell to bits old shape probably was made on a Friday afternoon best van working for someone else fiat scudo 2ltr turbo got 3 points in Dover heading for home like a scud missile

Hello Josh. i have a Vivaro with 650 litre tank and full ro system fitted, its a 1.9 TI and it pulls like a train, had a berlingo before this van and it was also a great little van with 400litre K.system fitted. I am in the process of buying another Vivaro as they seem ok.

Also the Ford Transit is another good van. Will Post pictures of the vans soon. Regards Andrew.

Ive got a swb vivaro 57 plate with a 500 ltr tank ro system and a gutter vac and like everyone says they pull like mad just make sure you get the high powered engine if you get a vivaro this is inside my vanView attachment 1357
