Try a strop over the top rung of roof ladder and then hook in with rope grab and petzl grillon. Make sure you use rated equipment and you use correct anchor knots. This case a simple figure of eight on a bight. Or a set of working lines over the roof to a secure double anchor and onto harness...
Just thought I’d share this little one. Been buying and using these things for ages and they’re fine but do need regularly replacing.
Well today I stumbled across these in Sports Direct
An extra ball for half the price. Just knock a hole through and your good.

Absolutely. Nothing wrong with a nice constructive bit of banter. I’m of to dream of soap bubbles now. [emoji1303]

The “crazy” company you refer to would be Evans Vanodine. Founded by a chemist in 1919, and now a hugely experienced company specialising in cleaning chemicals for a wide range of services around the globe.
I certainly wouldn’t put myself at risk or others by being negligent.

Q’sol is just a concentrated washing up liquid. Evans put their telephone number on the package. I called them and spoke to one of their chemical guys. I explained in detail what it was going to be used for and the kind of quantities and was told by him that it’s a hypochlorite safe product and...
I buy 10% Evans dairy hypo from countrywide farmers. £12 for 25lt and Evans hypo compatible Qsol for surfactant, £5 for 5lts. £17 and I’m off earning. Superb results with very satisfied customers. Lots of companies now trying to flog their “specialist” products and using imaginative banter to...
Started using iZettle recently. It’s great. Affordable and reliable. Personally I just absorb the few pence it costs per transaction as I used to spend way more than that going out collecting and chasing payments. Easy for customer and I get paid straight away. I’m happy to suck up the 43p on a...
I use a separate bank account and have account and sort code printed on invoice pads. Easy. Just started using iZettle for card payments. Very easy, cheap and reliable.

No worries mate, glad to help. Go careful with that polishing bit. Get the glass too hot and it’ll go on you. [emoji1303]

Take a look at this. It’s an acid etched store front. Looks like a new bit of glass or needs polishing out.

Think I might be looking at getting the 18ft pressure washing lance on them as long as it’d reach and it was in good and safe condition to pressure clean.

Possible airlock. Ensure water is flowing freely from tank outlet into di vessel(check the in and out line is correct way round) then from di to pump inlet. Turn on and disconnect outlet from pump and see if it helps clear air in pump. Check inline strainer too for blockages. Also ensure all...

First of all, the Works sprayer isn’t really made for chemicals like hypo, so the seals and pump might not last too long. Better getting one that’s made for the job and has viton seals. I use the IPS Pro and it’s a great bit of kit. Driveways and patios etc I usually always do a hypo wash...
Carbon fibre every time. Yes it cost more but it’s the tool of your trade. Builders use makita not B&Q. I began on glass fibre poles but when I changed to CF it was so much better, especially for my joints.( I’m getting on now)
