Weekend getaway for me and the wife.

I am based in Sheffield and as me and wife are saving money at the moment for a new place we haven't got much cash spare, but I was wondering about maybe going away for a weekend for our anniversary next month.

I don't have an official budget but prob could spend around £250 altogether for everything we do, any more and the wife would freak hehe.

Anybody got any suggestions?

I heard York is nice, but what is there to do?

Maybe the coast somewhere, but where?

Wales any good for a hol in early May?

I'm a bit stuck.

Only problem being room prices, with the £250 I could get us there and back and pay for a ***ht.
