I believe that used to be the case years ago but things have moved on. The program was on end of last year and used scientists to test all the fuel. The results came back that they were all the same. I found it hard to believe but it makes sense because if it was proven that their fuel was defective then they would be wide open to court cases.I had injected problems with one of my vans only that vehicle was filled up at Asda all the time , it needed 4 new injectors the garage that did the work said you have been using supermarket fuel haven’t you ?. Yes I said he said that they see it all the time with vehicles that use that type of fuel , never happens with branded fuel , since that time we haven’t used Asda again and have never had any other issues with any of my vehicles so I dint know if he is right but it certainly made scene
