just getting used to my GVS camera x40 campark got any tips please? How long can i expect one of the batteries to last. wish the had remote swich to turn camera on and off from the pole base that would save the batteries no manufacturer,s do that! in the instructions it says about sceen going of after pre determind time wich you can set does this mean you have to lower the pole after this time and reset? thanks Happy New Year

I don't know the GVS camera but with most electronic things it's the display that eats batteries. You should be able to change the time before the screen goes off. Try the minimum time for longest battery life. Even if the camera's screen is off it can still record and transmit to a phone.
I would guess you should get an hour or 2 on a battery.
