I've just bought a new filter for my skyvac mighty atom but have no idea how to take the old one off and attach the new

Does anyone have a link to a video or can explain to me somehow as I can't see it in the instruction manuals that came with the machine

Thank you ?

hi, just found your question because I had the same one.. found no answer, but just worked out how to do it... you have to pull the white tape through to the right position, and hold it there... then pull the lose end untill it's fully locked ... hope that makes sense.

Thanks, I ended up just cutting off the old one and then with great difficulty putting on the new one 🤦‍♂️ lol I think I'll get better at it with practise, thanks for writing this on here though I'll do this next time

I'm actually using the vac quite a bit without a filter in it... you get more suction then. When I bought the filter, the lady at spinaclean told me that some people have mentioned to her that they have used their vac for over 5 years without a filter, and had no problem... she did say that for very dry rocky stuff is is probably better to have the filter in..

Interesting to know, personally I'm not going to take the risk, I'll just keep it in then dry it after jobs and change the filter once a season I think 👍
